Instructions for the online application process
Please read the Applicant Guide before starting the application process. You can view the Application Form and the Budget Template Detail in PDF format if you want to see the questions in advance.
The online application process does not have a “save progress” feature. Once you start the process, you need to complete all the steps without closing your browser.
The online application process has 4 steps.
- Step 1: Application form
- This form is where you describe your organization and project in detail.
- Step 2: Budget detail template
- This form is where you do the breakdown of the budget for your project. You also state here the amount you request from Accessibility Standards Canada.

- Step 3: Add attachments
- At this step, you will be able to attach your support documents. For example, proofs of partnership, proofs of cash contributions, etc.
- Step 4: Preview and submit your application
- You will be able to preview your completed forms and attached documents (steps 1-3). You will then submit your online application to Accessibility Standards Canada. You will also receive a confirmation email with a copy of your completed application when you submit it.
Questions marked as *(required) means the question is mandatory. You will not be able to go to the next step unless all the mandatory fields are completed and any errors are corrected.
