Accessibility Plan: Targeted accessibility consultation
Note
This consultation will end on June 23, 2025.
About this consultation
We want to hear from you!
Accessibility Standards Canada is developing its second Accessibility Plan for 2026 to 2028.
The new plan will build on our first Accessibility Plan published in December 2022. It will outline:
- our accessibility objectives for the next 3 years
- the accessibility practices we will continue
- the barriers we have identified
- the actions we will take to remove these barriers and prevent other barriers
We previously sought input while preparing our 2023 Accessibility Progress Report and 2024 Accessibility Progress Report. We appreciated the valuable feedback we received—it is already helping to inform our approach.
We invite you to please take a few moments to answer the questions below as we now work on developing the Accessibility Plan for 2026 to 2028. The questions focus on your interactions with our organization.
The survey includes the following sections and priority areas from the Accessible Canada Act. Please feel free to answer the questions that apply to you most or to skip to other sections:
- Section 1: Interacting with Accessibility Standards Canada
- Section 2: Employment
- Section 3: Built environment
- Section 4: Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
- Section 5: Communication
- Section 6: Program and service delivery
- Section 7: Procurement
- Section 8: Other demographic questions
Please note that items related to the transportation priority area are included in the built environment section.
Your voice will directly inform our new Accessibility Plan. We will use what we hear to identify the barriers and action items that we will focus on over the next 3 years.
