Areas of focus
There are common areas where people with disabilities may experience barriers to accessibility in AI authoring tools. These include, but are not limited to:
- Inaccessible interfaces in AI-based or AI-assisted authoring tools resulting in barriers to creating content by people with disabilities.
- Inaccessible content created by AI-based or AI-assisted authoring tools resulting in lack of access to web content, applications, and services, including to essential services that have an impact on many Accessible Canada Act priority areas.
