Accessible Skies: Enhancing the Accessibility of Airport Experiences for Passengers with Cognitive Disabilities and their Support Networks

The demographic of people with cognitive disabilities is growing as the population ages. Navigating airports involves skills development, overcoming complex systems and processes, and managing multiple barriers. This study will address the barriers faced by people with cognitive disabilities when navigating airports. It aims to identify and understand these challenges to improve the airport experience for people with cognitive disabilities, their families and care partners.
