Goal of the study

People with disabilities are more vulnerable to cybersecurity threats. Most current cybersecurity protections are also inaccessible. For example, assistive technologies such as screen readers are often incompatible with security applications. This study will develop an inclusive cybersecurity assessment framework to address the risks and barriers faced by people with disabilities in Canada. It will also look at gaps in security protocols for workplace tools and assistive technology.
