International travel approval
If your project includes international travel and you want to use Accessibility Standards Canada’s funding to pay for it (fully or partially), you must get our approval before the travel takes place. This is to ensure that:
- the costs are eligible
- the travel is necessary for the project
- the knowledge or data you are seeking could not be obtained in Canada
When to submit the form
- At least 6 weeks before the date of travel
How to complete the form
- Fill in your project and organization information
- Provide travel details
- Explain the purpose of the travel and how it is directly related to project activities
- Explain why the expertise, data or work you are seeking could not be obtained in Canada
- Indicate the estimated cost of travel, including transportation, accommodations and other costs
- Have the form signed by an authorized signatory
