My Say: Exploring the Opportunities and Risks of AI-Assisted Communication

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used for employment-related purposes like productivity, collaboration, hiring and monitoring. AI tools can be very helpful for both employees and members of the public with disabilities who experience communication barriers. This project will bring together people with disabilities, disability organizations, Deaf communities, and researchers to study the benefits and risks of Generative Artificial Intelligence tools (GenAI). The goal is to develop recommendations on how federal organizations can choose AI tools without adding barriers.
