This study will look at what features or specifications are needed to ensure mobile devices are accessible. The study will also develop ways to assess and test the accessibility of mobile devices. These methods could then be used to confirm a device is accessible before making a decision to buy it. 

This study will look at ways to make emergency alert systems in Canada accessible to people with disabilities.

This project will identify barriers that people with disabilities face when using streaming services.

The content of streaming services is delivered through apps created by the service provider. It is also delivered using devices such as dongles (a small device that plugs into a computer or TV) and set-top boxes. These devices are used to connect televisions, including smart TVs, to the internet.

This project will focus on the accessibility of these apps and devices. It will make recommendations to support the development of an accessibility standard for the delivery of streaming services.

This study will look at barriers in the procurement process that impact people with disabilities, including those who own businesses. It will make recommendations on what can be done to remove these barriers.

This study will identify and analyze the processes faced by travellers with cognitive disabilities and their care partners throughout the airport experience. This includes the planning for arrival, check-in, security, customs, and waiting time at airports of various sizes. The findings will be used to provide recommendations for accessibility standards to improve the airport experience for individuals with cognitive disabilities.
